SME Company has launched a dedicated initiative to back domestic brands in clothing, footwear, accessories, and cosmetics. The SME Stitches program aims to help participants reach customers through popular offline and online channels. This initiative was confirmed by SME Corporation.

The program also opens doors for Russian entrepreneurs to access government support programs, including affordable loan options, equipment rental, loan guarantees, and participation in targeted acceleration efforts.

Applications to join the program can be submitted through the Digital Platform MSP.RF.

Selected brands from among the participants will be featured quarterly in offline stores under preferential terms.

Telegraph, a Moscow store located in the Riviera shopping center, became the project’s first partner. Five representatives from small and medium-sized enterprises producing outerwear and women’s apparel, as well as natural cosmetics, showcased their products there.

Alexander Isaevich, General Director of SME Corporation, emphasized that for Russian brands to gain demand and to stand alongside foreign products, manufacturers must actively assist with promotion.

He noted that the first pillar is support in sales and marketing, where packaging and branding are crucial. Free accelerators will be organized for project participants to refine product packaging, streamline business processes, and build sales channels. The second key pillar is accessible financing to fuel business development, with concessional loan support available to all participants.

Nikolai Konstantinov, General Director of Trend Island and head of Telegraph, explained that the store was created to bridge producers of fashionable clothing, footwear, and accessories with buyers who want new styles.

He expressed optimism that the collaboration would help emerging brands grow and reach a wider audience, adding that the partnership would be closely monitored and supported.

Sergei Belyakov, General Director of Ozon, highlighted that the growth of the e commerce market relies on more sellers and a high quality product range for millions of Russians. He stated that supporting small and medium sized enterprises is a top priority and that Ozon is pleased to participate in a project that promotes Russian clothing, footwear, and accessory manufacturers.
