In 2023, Sber Insurance Broker assisted clients in recovering losses across various property insurance types, reporting total recoveries of 9 billion rubles. This figure was disclosed by the bank’s press service.
Valentina Sklyar, the CEO of Sber Insurance Broker, indicated that in 2023 more than 2,800 organizations from diverse sectors became new clients, engaging the company’s services in areas such as insurance consulting and damage compensation.
“The firm accompanies clients through insurance consulting and the process of settling damage, offering immediate advisory support. Our team observes that in 2024 there will still be a demand for specialized guidance in insurance advice and claims handling”, Sklyar explained.
Sklyar noted that the objective of Sber Insurance Broker is to ensure that customers obtain the most convenient resolution of their damage claims.
“We stand ready to provide timely assistance to our clients in resolving insurance cases and achieving solid outcomes”, he added.
Sberbank announced that the largest 2023 loss closed with the direct involvement of Sberbank Insurance Broker amounted to 7.1 billion rubles. It was reported that the owner of a warehouse complex in Noginsk near Moscow, along with four major tenants, received insurance compensation for the loss of marketable goods due to a fire.
Additionally in 2023, through the consulting support of Sber Insurance Broker, significant incidents were managed, such as the fire at Zuma, a pan-Asian restaurant in Vladivostok, and fires at the Freight Transport Company warehouses in the Primorsky Territory. Inventory items were secured and the claims closed successfully.
It was highlighted that insurance payouts for the reported incidents were issued promptly. In practice, payments were typically disbursed within six to nine months from the moment the insured event occurred or the necessary documents were submitted to the insurer.
