Russia’s Pork Trade With India and Global Market Trends

In November 2023 Russia renewed pork shipments to India after nearly four years of interruption, a development reported by RIA News with reference to official statistics from the republic. The data show that Russia delivered 12.41 tons of pork valued at about $50,000 to India. During the same month Delhi imported pork totaling around $330,000, which placed Moscow at roughly a 15 percent share of India’s pork imports.
