The Central Bank of the Russian Federation is resuming the online publication of banks’ statements on its official site, a move that had been paused in 2022 amid sanctions concerns. The Bank of Russia confirmed the relaunch of the reporting disclosures for credit institutions that were previously suspended.
According to the regulator, the decision restores transparency across the banking sector as a whole and for individual institutions, benefiting partners, customers, investors, and industry experts alike. The regulator emphasized that the renewed data sharing aims to improve visibility into how banks operate and how their reporting aligns with regulatory expectations.
Specifically, the site will recommence publishing the turnover data for banks (form 101), the capital adequacy calculations (form 123), and the mandatory rates (form 135) for the month of May 2023. The Bank of Russia also signaled plans to broaden the range of data released starting in July, extending the scope of disclosures to additional metrics and indicators used by analysts and stakeholders for assessment and scrutiny.
