In this outlook, the largest inflows are anticipated from key inbound markets such as China, Turkey, India, and Iran, reflecting both established travel corridors and evolving demand among new groups of visitors.

At the same time, Russian residents undertook a substantial amount of international travel in the first quarter, with total outbound trips around 4.9 million and about 1.7 million of these trips designated as tourism. Compared with the first quarter of the previous year, these figures rose by approximately 26.6 percent for total outbound travels and 46.8 percent for tourism-related journeys. Among the destinations, Turkey emerged as a top choice for Russian travelers, recording around 653.4 thousand trips in the period. The United Arab Emirates ranked second with about 492.8 thousand visits, while Thailand rounded out the top three with 410.8 thousand trips. Taken together, these destinations appear likely to drive growth in the market over the remainder of the year, given their established appeal, favorable flight connections, and hospitality infrastructure.

Touring experts have also commented on how travelers can optimize value during a country visit. For those seeking economical options in Turkey, guided tours instead of independent apartment rentals and direct travel arrangements can yield meaningful savings on flights, transfers, and accommodation. Analysts note that packaged itineraries often provide predictable costs and access to bundled services that appeal to savvy travelers from North America who are balancing time, budget, and experiences. This perspective aligns with broader consumer preferences for convenience and price certainty when planning international trips.
