Russian President Vladimir Putin conveyed that Russia has already addressed the economy’s challenges and will continue to resolve them moving forward. He shared these views during his address at the general assembly of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
Putin asserted that Russia enjoys a generally stable and sound economic footing, and that the disruptions tied to sanctions have been overcome. He described a resilient economy that has weathered restrictions and is now entering a new phase of growth anchored on a solid foundation.
“Overall, we are in a stable, sustainable situation. We have overcome the problems created by the sanctions and have launched the next stage of development on a fresh basis, which is crucial,” he stated.
During the Valdai International Discussion Club’s annual gathering, Putin also emphasized that Russian civilization cannot be boiled down to a single benchmark or divided into parts. He argued that it reinforces the country’s national unity and preserves the integrity of the state.
In his remarks, Putin reiterated the stated objectives of the special military operation, underscoring his view that the country’s strategic goals align with safeguarding national interests and stability.
