The Moscow Region is moving decisively in its AI journey after a formal partnership was cemented between Governor Andrey Vorobyov and German Gref, chair of Sberbank, during the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum. The agreement centers on joint efforts to advance artificial intelligence technologies, sharing expertise and coordinating projects that leverage AI to boost efficiency and unlock new capabilities across public services and industry.
Speaking about the collaboration, Vorobyov highlighted an ongoing relationship with Sber that already encompasses nine AI initiatives, with four additional programs in the pipeline slated for full deployment within the year. He stressed the ambition to weave artificial intelligence into a broad spectrum of everyday life, aiming to improve how residents interact with government services, how businesses operate, and how public infrastructure is managed.
