The German conglomerate Bosch is exploring a potential buyer for its Khimki headquarters on Vashutinskoye Shosse near Moscow. This development was reported by RBC, citing three local real estate agents.

Bosch Russia’s press office stated that all options for the building’s use are being considered, with attention to how the space might be adapted to new workflows, though a final decision has not been made.

An RBC source noted that the Khimki headquarters is currently unoccupied.

The facility spans about 59,000 square meters. It was erected in 2014 to house roughly 700 Bosch employees in Russia and to coordinate the group’s activities within the country. The construction price was around 100 million euros.

In December, the Kommersant newspaper reported talks regarding the sale of Bosch’s St. Petersburg factories to the Turkish investment fund Can Holding. Huseyin Imanov, founder of the Russian company Jacky’s, said that Hisense had pulled out of the discussions after the Turks submitted a bid that was twice as large as earlier offers.

Amid Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine beginning in 2022, several foreign brands decided to suspend or exit the Russian market. Global names like McDonald’s, The Coca‑Cola Export Corporation, Nike, Adidas, and Inditex (Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka) paused operations or withdrew entirely. That shift influenced Bosch and its peers as the market adapted to new sanctions and supply chain realities.

Earlier, Russian stores of LG, Bosch, and Sony had begun selling remaining inventories in anticipation of broader market changes and possible consolidations in the retail and manufacturing sectors.
