Aeroflot has restarted its regular services from Sheremetyevo Airport to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, according to the airline’s own communications.

The carrier confirms that flights to the UAE capital will run four times weekly, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, operated with the narrow-body Boeing 737-800 aircraft. This schedule aims to offer reliable connectivity for travelers seeking business, leisure, or family visits, aligning with winter demand patterns and the carrier’s broader network goals.

Starting November 2, Aeroflot plans to move these Abu Dhabi services to Abu Dhabi International Airport’s new Midfield Terminal. Midfield is touted as one of the largest terminals in the world, designed to handle as many as 79 aircraft at once and to process up to 11,000 passengers per hour. The move reflects a strategic upgrade aimed at improving passenger flow and overall airport experience for both origin and destination travelers.

In addition to the Abu Dhabi service, Aeroflot continues to operate its Moscow to Dubai route as part of the airline’s winter schedule. This ongoing connection supports holiday and business travel to another major UAE destination, expanding options for travelers planning multi-city itineraries or longer stays in the region.

Business class travelers and Aeroflot Bonus Gold and Platinum members will have access to the Plaza Premium Lounge, offering a comfortable space to relax, work, or refresh before departure or after landing. This perk mirrors the airline’s broader loyalty program benefits and reinforces the value of flying with Aeroflot for frequent flyers and premium customers.

Earlier communications noted an uptick in the frequency of Moscow to Dubai flights starting October 30. The airline highlighted that three daily departures would operate from Sheremetyevo to Dubai International Airport, a move designed to meet rising seasonal demand for UAE travel. Passengers are encouraged to check the latest timetables and availability on Aeroflot’s official site for any schedule changes or service updates, especially during peak travel periods.
