Aeroflot has started selling tickets for regular flights between Krasnoyarsk and Harbin in the People’s Republic of China, as confirmed by the airline’s press service.
Flights on the new Krasnoyarsk Harbin route will be operated by Rossiya Airlines using Superjet 100 aircraft, beginning December 24, according to the press release. The winter seasonal timetable shows two weekly rotations linking Aeroflot Group’s Siberian hub with Harbin, with departures from Krasnoyarsk slated for Tuesdays and Sundays and return services on Wednesdays and Mondays.
The addition of Harbin to the network is expected to create more options for both business travelers and leisure visitors. Prospective passengers can check the current schedule on the airline’s official website. Harbin is recognized as the largest transportation hub and an important economic center in northeast China, and it serves as a gateway to winter tourism in the region. The city hosts the world famous annual winter festival of snow and ice sculptures, a tradition maintained for six decades.
In related aviation news, plans were previously reported by socialbites.ca to increase Aeroflot’s Moscow to Dubai services from late October. The airline was set to operate three daily flights from Sheremetyevo to Dubai International Airport to accommodate rising seasonal demand in the United Arab Emirates. This expansion underscores the carrier’s strategy to boost capacity on key routes during peak travel periods.
