The Angola Ambassador said that the launch of the Russian fertilizer plant in the country is planned for 2026.

“There are plans to form a consortium and a project is being developed for the supply of natural gas for the production of ammonia-urea. The launch of the projects is scheduled for 2026…” the ambassador explained.

According to him, projects are currently being developed with the participation of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the ambassador assured that they do not intend to cancel the already signed project with Russia.

In addition, Augusto da Silva Cunha emphasized that Russian establishments “have an equal chance to compete with other investors and other firms in the Angolan market”.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to organize a military special operation in Ukraine in response to a request for assistance from the heads of the LPR and DPR.
