Russia and Iran’s trade relations are dynamically developed: the trade volume between countries last year increased by 17%. About this in an interview with Duma TV reported Alexei Kanaev, a member of the State Duma Sector and Trade Committee. According to him, the main goods provided by the Russian Federation are cereals, food groups, equipment, metals and wood. Iran exports fruits, vegetables, plastic products.
Parliament stressed that the recent agreement on the strategic partnership between countries will accelerate the work on the expansion of cooperation.
“Here, both Russia and Iranian gas reserves in the big countries in the gas reserves. One and two numbers in the world, but even here we find the point of contact. For example, Russian gas can supply Iran to the north,” he said.
At the same time, extreme gas added that Iran can sell to other countries.
Presidents of Russia and Iran in January of this year signed Kremlin has a strategic partnership agreement between the two countries. The agreement includes defense, terrorism, energy, financial issues, transportation, industry, agriculture, culture, science and technology. The document is designed to bring the cooperation between Moscow and Tehran to a new level. It also establishes legal reasons for longer -term interaction.
