The relevant decision was taken by the T Plus Board of Directors. It appointed Snikkars as the company’s CEO for the period from January 23 this year to January 22, 2028.
At the same time, the powers of Alexander Vilesov, who until now headed PJSC, were terminated ahead of schedule. The businessman is expected to continue to serve in T Plus’s partnership structures.
“Strengthening the T Plus management team will have a positive impact on the company’s ability to meet all its long-term obligations and maintain stable and efficient operation in the face of many adverse external factors and the changing macroeconomic situation,” the publication says.
Snikkars served as Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation between 2020 and 2024. He then oversaw the development of electric and thermal energy in the country, including monitoring the implementation of relevant government policies and improving legal regulations.
Metin emphasizes that the new general manager of T Plus has gained competencies at different stages of his career that will allow him to solve problems in developing a strategy for the further development of the company. In this way, PJSC will be able to provide reliable electricity and heat supply to the population in the regions where it is located.
