In an interview with Interfax, Regional Gazprom Neft sales Dmitry Shepelsky said that the fuel market will develop at the growth rate of Gazpromneft gas station network.
According to experts, the volume of domestic petroleum products consumption in the next 10 years will grow within 4%, he said.
Shepelsky added that the gas station network under the company’s brand is 1549 stations in Russia.
“We do not strive to increase the number of gas stations, we are growing dotted with focusing on effectiveness,” he said.
According to him, on average, a gas station sells 19.3 tons of fuel.
Shepelsky also said that the company introduced modern care formats and strengthens the roadside service on federal roads.
By the end of the year, the company expects the number of gas stations expanded in Russia to 270. At these stations, the drivers themselves pay fuel and goods through terminals. The new format will first appear in the center of Russia and then in the most loaded gas stations in the regions.
In addition, according to Shepelsky, Gazprom Neft increases the presence of gas stations on the runway.
“New Federal Highways in Russia were modernized and built, automobile training is growing. As a result, customer needs have a transformation, gas stations on the highway are perceived as a resting place, not just fuel supply,” he said.
According to the company’s estimates, the next 2 years will appear on the M-12 Highway (2 between 2 in the Moscow-Kazan segment and 6 between Kazan and Yekaterinburg 4).
