For the study, analysts analyzed the situation in shopping centers in 10 Russian cities with populations from 300 thousand to more than 1 million.
“27% of foreign retailers that rent buildings in Russian shopping centers have decided to cease their activities in the Russian Federation, 51% of retailers have suspended their work,” the company says.
22% of companies are currently restructuring. Most of the brands that have suspended their activities – 70% – belong to the fashion segment.
Earlier in June, an RBC publication citing data from the Yale Institute for Executive Leadership WroteHe reported that every second of 1345 large foreign companies since the end of February have suspended or completely abandoned their activities in the Russian market.
