CNBC: Elon Musk files lawsuit against Twitter

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has filed a lawsuit against Twitter. Reported by this TV channel CNBC.

Elon Musk filed a counterclaim on Twitter on Friday, escalating the conflict between the Tesla CEO and the social network.

According to CNBC, the billionaire wanted to hide the details of his retaliatory lawsuit against the social network from the public.

Twitter sued Elon Musk a few days after the billionaire’s decision to withdraw from the deal to buy the company for $44 billion. Musk, who said social network representatives had given him false information about the number of fake accounts on the platform, is hiding details that could derail the deal. Twitter denies these allegations and says Musk violated the terms of the agreement.

Twitter officials want Musk to pay the company $1 billion in damages for breaking the deal.
