At the end of September, the average rental price of one-room apartments in Moscow increased by 11.4% compared to August, reaching 80 thousand rubles. The capital has become a leader among Russia’s multi-million cities in increasing the cost of removable one-room apartments. Krasnodar ranked second in cost increases. The average rent for rental apartments in cities with more than a million rose by 9.1%, reaching just over 28 thousand rubles. In third place is Rostov-on-Don. The price of one-room apartments here increased by 8.7% in September, reaching almost 35 thousand rubles.
Prices for other types of rental apartments have increased the most in Moscow. The average rental price of two-room apartments here increased by 6.8% per month and amounted to 111 thousand rubles. The average rental rate for three-room apartments in the capital increased by 7.2 percent to 171 thousand rubles. The average long-term rental rate for studios in Moscow was almost 77 thousand rubles (+6.5% per month). In other cities over a million, the increase in rental prices for this type of apartments was not so noticeable.
