“Despite the continued activity of tenants and the continued increase in average rental prices, the supply of rental apartments is beginning to be renewed. This growth can be associated with the transition of property owners, who temporarily postponed the sale of real estate due to the low demand for second homes, to the long-term rental market. Moreover, among such “transitional” apartments there are not only plots from the old housing stock, but also apartments in modern projects, which has a positive impact on the growth of average rates in the city,” said Roman Zhukov.

The expert concluded that demand in the rental market still exceeds supply.
