Russians were told what an employer could consider a bonus

Flexible work schedules are the first non-monetary bonus employers are offering to retain Russians in times of staff shortages. The ability to work remotely or have a flexible schedule helps employees better balance work and personal life, Svyatoslav Semerenko, a career expert at the Center for Future Professions, told socialbites.ca.

The second intangible bonus is training and development. According to Semerenko, professional development opportunities, including courses, trainings and seminars, increase employee engagement.

The third non-monetary bonus is health insurance, fitness programs or gym memberships. According to the expert, this expresses concern for the health of employees.

“The fourth bonus is comfortable working conditions. Comfortable offices, modern technologies and comfortable rest areas make the workplace more attractive. The fifth non-material bonus is additional vacation days and support in difficult situations (for example, payment of treatment fees in case of illness),” Semerenko emphasized.

The sixth bonus is compensation for rented housing or the provision of boarding houses to candidates from other regions. Some Russian companies provide such support, the expert explained.
