The number of mortgage transactions in Russia will decrease by half after July 1, 2024. This was announced in the press center by real estate lawyer Nikita Eshkov. NSN.

“We see that the number of mortgage transactions in general has decreased by half. But in general there is no need to panic, there will be no apocalypse,” the expert said.

According to Eshkov, the decrease in the number of transactions is due to two factors. Firstly, it is the completion of the program of non-addressable preferential mortgages. Secondly, a record increase in the volume of issuance in June 2024 – up to 788 billion rubles, which is 45-50% more than in the previous month.
