Russia’s gas exports were expected to triple 14:22

The Russian Energy Ministry predicts that by 2050 Russia will be able to increase its gas supplies abroad by almost three times compared to last year’s figures. The newspaper writes about this “Vedomosti” referring to ministry materials.

According to the Ministry of Energy, Russia’s gas exports will reach 359 billion cubic meters by 2030 (+151% compared to 2023), and by 2050 – 421 billion cubic meters (+194%).

The ministry also expects exports of other hydrocarbons to increase. According to estimates, coal exports will increase by 59 percent to 338 million tons by mid-century, and oil exports will increase by 3.8 percent to 243 million tons.
