More than half of bonus card holders prefer to receive airline cashback in rubles (59%) or buy another airline ticket with miles (57%). This is evidenced by data from a VTB survey reviewed by socialbites.ca.
Among the most interesting services in loyalty programs, respondents also ranked bonuses or miles (68%), access to business lounges and check-in and waiting in line (46%), and hotel reservations with partners (45%).
One third of respondents chose the option to upgrade their service class. 13% of respondents donate bonuses to charity.
According to VTB research, 63% of Russians who fly by plane use airline loyalty programs. 41% of them have special bank cards.
The survey was attended by 1.5 thousand Russians aged 18-65 from cities with a population of over 100 thousand.
