A federal project for managed recruitment of migrants may emerge in Russia. This was reported by RBC referring to the project.
The document states that Russian authorities will discuss the federal project “Quality Labor Migration” at a strategic government session at the end of July, which includes “increasing the controllability of recruitment” of foreign workers through the organized recruitment of migrants. To this end, it is planned to discuss the creation of an organized recruitment operator – PPK “Work in Russia”, which will serve as a personnel center for Russian companies.
It is also proposed to carry out a medical examination outside Russia, take fingerprints and test the knowledge of the Russian language, as well as to connect a foreign worker to one employer and expand the geography of their countries of origin.
According to the publication, this project was included in the working version of the national project “Personnel”, which was demonstrated at one of the interdepartmental meetings in June.
The Ministry of Labor told RBC that the structure of the “Personnel” has not yet been approved, the content of the future national project is being worked out.
