While 43% of respondents cover their current expenses with cash advance loans, 20.2% cover unexpected expenses. The top 5 goals include buying clothes (6.2%), treatment (5.9%) and paying off other loans (4.5%).

39.1% of respondents take medium-term loans of up to 100 thousand rubles. for one year with repayment according to the program. With the help of such microloans, Russians also meet current needs (21.9%) and unexpected expenses (15.2%). However, customers use them much more often than short-term loans for large expenses: buying tools or expensive equipment (11.8%), repairing a car (10.1%) or renovating an apartment (9.3%).

One in ten people prefer POS credit, which can be given directly from the store when purchasing products and paid back in installments.

The study was conducted by surveying subscribers of the official Zaimer community on VKontakte in June 2024. More than 2 thousand people responded.
