US court lifts LNG export ban 05:07

An American court has lifted US President Joe Biden’s ban on liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports. This is reported with reference to a decision by the Louisiana District Court. DEA News.

Sixteen states have filed lawsuits, believing the president’s decision violates federal law.

The court found that the plaintiffs were entitled to have the LNG export ban lifted before the trial, and therefore accepted the request for the immediate and complete lifting of the ban on liquefied natural gas exports.
