The publication “Rules of Life” awarded the Voyage Award to the main players of the hotel and restaurant industry in Russia, as well as to services that help bring domestic tourism to a new level. The organizers of the award reported this.
The award ceremony of the first travel award took place at the Odeon Theater in Moscow.
Among the guests of the evening were representatives of Russian hotels and restaurants, as well as entrepreneur Oksana Lavrentieva, writer Alexander Tsypkin, blogger Maria Minogarova, TV presenter Elena Letuchaya and others.
Addressing the audience, Sergei Minaev, editor-in-chief of the “Rules of Life” magazine, pointed out how necessary it is now to handle and support projects in the hospitality industry.
Comedian Dima Koval performed a stand-up comedy about travel.
Later, Trifon Bebutov, editor-in-chief of Rules of Life magazine, explained why the magazine team attaches importance to the hospitality industry.
“As editors, we see that domestic tourism is developing and therefore, together with our readers, we discover corners of the country we have never been to before. “We have been writing about tourism for a year and the Voyage Prize is a summary of our research in travel,” he said.
He noted that the hotels chosen by the editors are not just brilliant projects.
“These are the hotels that we and our experts really love, and we want as many of our readers as possible to know about them,” added the publication’s editor-in-chief.
According to the magazine, the best city hotel was the Tasigo Kazan Palace hotel in Kazan.
The jury chose the Mriya Resort & SPA hotel in Crimea as the most interesting architectural project.
The best design project was the Villa Romanov Wine Club & SPA hotel in the Krasnodar region.
Also awarded were the Kivach sanatorium in Karelia, the Hvoy restaurant at We Lodge in the Leningrad region, the Pestovo Podvorye tourist site in Suzdal, the digital travel service Cuva.ru and other projects.
