The Supreme Court decided to cancel the transfer of the Iset factory, owned by former deputy Malik Gaisin, to the state represented by the Rostec company. TV channel reports this RBC referring to lawyer Anton Demchenko.
“At the hearing, we supported the claims of our constitutional complaint and presented the provisions of Article 6 as justification to the court that the statute of limitations had expired. 169 and 235 of the Civil Code,” Demchenko said.
The lawyer noted that the article was applied retroactively during the investigation. In addition, the court also revealed violations committed in the implementation of the rules governing parliamentary status between 1996 and 2000. Demchenko noted that his client did not violate any of these norms.
The court in Yekaterinburg in 2023 sent Ural businessman Malik Gaisin was kept under house arrest until May 13 and a criminal case was opened against him for abuse of power.
According to preliminary data, the case is related to the failure to comply with the state defense order of the Iset enterprise, of which he is the general director.
