“There are several reasons for this: on the one hand, Abkhazia is considered a territory belonging to Georgia in the international arena, and a McDonald’s franchise operates there, and we do not want to create a conflict,” Paroev said.
At the same time, restaurants of the chain may appear in Adler or Sochi, near the border with Abkhazia. Moreover, Paroev admitted that branches of the “Vkusno era” would be opened in some other countries and even stated that the company already had certain plans, but refused to voice them.
Previously CEO of “Tasty – period” explainedthat the chain’s restaurants are not opened in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions for security reasons. Paroev also noted that the “Delicious period” is not available in all regions of the Russian Federation, since the chain’s restaurants are opened in places where there is a sufficient number of consumers and the stability of supplies and the safety of employees can be ensured.
