44.1% of respondents work part-time for 15 to 20 days a month, and a quarter spend 10 to 15 days doing so. 16% of artists work part-time for less than 10 days per month, and approximately the same number of respondents work more than 20 days.
Respondents work part-time in delivery and taxi (23.6%), marketing and design (15.3%), retail and e-com (14.5%), IT (13.1%) and also work in call centers and online provides services. marketplaces (11.9%). Couriers and taxi drivers (63.2%), builders (8.1%) and IT professionals (6.5%) work more than 40 hours a week. Cities where people earn the most extra money include Yekaterinburg, Moscow and Novosibirsk.
The majority of respondents (24.1%) noted being self-employed in 2023, 22.1% in 2021, and 17% in 2020.
The survey was conducted in May 2024. 3,000 self-employed Russians from more than 17 million cities took part in it.
