FAS did not receive a petition to buy KFC

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) said the agency did not receive a petition to purchase the KFC restaurant chain. About TASS reported in the press service of the regulator.

“Until now, the application for this transaction has not been submitted to FAS Russia for consideration. Once received, the service will evaluate it for compliance with antitrust laws,” the message states.

Previously, the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) did not receive Applications from prospective buyers of Delivery Club ready-to-eat meal delivery service.

Prior to that, citing a source familiar with the negotiations, he reported that VK holding and the company Sber were negotiating for the sale of the Delivery Club fast food delivery service.

The FAS also noted that the department’s position would depend on the specific terms and agreements of the parties to the transaction, which the service would have to evaluate for compliance with antitrust laws.

VK and Yandex did not comment on the information provided by the FAS.
