“75 airports are airports where reconstruction, new construction, restoration measures are required – airports in new regions are also included in this list,” Andrianova said.
According to him, we are talking about the reconstruction of five airports in new regions of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, the deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency said that it is planned to repair and renovate 116 airports by 2030. Major repairs will also be required at 51 airports, and these repairs will be carried out using “funds from the currently established infrastructure development fund”. Andrianova explained that “this will be an extra-budgetary fund.”
