The document was signed by Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov and Belarusian Minister of Economy Yuri Chebotar.

“Today, investment activity is at the top of the agenda; joint ventures and the creation of production facilities are what form the basis for further strengthening trade and economic relations,” said Belarusian Minister of Economy Yuri Chebotar.
According to him, Belarus is interested in receiving investment from Russia in a wide range of sectors, from mechanical engineering and instrument making to tourism. In return, Belarus will establish assembly factories in Russia and its investments will be directed there.
