Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that Bratislava will not ban the transit of agricultural products from Ukraine, but the ban on the import of 14 products to the republic will continue. His words guide the way RIA News.
“Slovakia guarantees corridors for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products through the territory of Slovakia to countries that need agricultural products from Ukraine,” Fico said.
He also stated that he told Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal in a “friendly” way how important it was for him to protect the interests of Slovak farmers.
Fico said, “Until a common solution is found, there will be a ban on 14 agricultural products that we do not import from Ukraine.”
