The total income of Russian companies from the IT sector in 2023 was 5.5 trillion rubles. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev, writes TASS.

“The revenue of companies in the IT sector increased by more than 40% last year,” he said.

From the minister’s report, it follows that the increase in income compared to 2022 is 2.6 times 43.2% compared to 2019.

Before that, plans to improve working conditions for IT specialists in Russia were reported. To the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation reportedThe limit on the BT mortgage program will be increased to 700 billion rubles.

The ministry noted that the limit currently allows 50 thousand IT professionals to receive support. According to preliminary estimates, thanks to the increase in the total limit, it will be possible to additionally support at least 15 thousand experts in this field.
