Atomenergoprom placed digital financial assets on the Alfa-Bank A-Token platform

Alfa-Bank, together with the state company Rosatom, has realized one of the largest digital financial asset markets, issuing digital financial assets for institutional investors. This was reported by the bank’s press service.

The issuer of the transaction was Atomenergoprom, a subsidiary of Rosatom.

As part of the transaction, CFAs grant monetary claims with 17.35% annual interest income. The volume of issuance amounted to 100 DFA with a total value of 10 billion rubles and a period of 90 days.

Alfa-Bank stated that this was a testing period for the new instrument. Rosatom plans to attract funds in the medium and long term in the future.

Beginning on March 22, CFAs issued were made available on the secondary market to investors of all types.

The bank explained that digital financial assets allow businesses to attract financing easier and faster than in the classical market.

Thus, the process of joining the platform and issuing DFA on the A-Token platform took less than 4 days on Atomenergoprom, whereas on the classical market this procedure could take several weeks.

Vladimir Voeikov, director of large and medium-sized enterprises at Alfa-Bank, noted that since the adoption of the digital financial services law in 2020, the volume of this innovative market has reached 77 billion rubles and Alfa-Bank’s share has exceeded 50 percent. monetary terms.

“The inclusion of DFAs issued on the A-Token platform in the capital management of the world leader in nuclear energy production is another important step towards the formation of a liquid secondary market for DFAs,” Voeikov added.

Rosatom Deputy General Director of Economy and Finance Ilya Rebrov said that today the state institution has implemented many projects, and for this it is necessary to attract reliable financial partners.

He expressed confidence that digital financial assets will help the government agency solve these problems.
