Andrei Kutepov, chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy of the Federation Council, and Vladimir Gutenev, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade (United Russia party), have prepared a draft law that forms the basis for state regulation of the activities of marketplaces. This also includes amendments to the commercial code. This was reported by TASSwith reference to the explanatory note of the document.
According to the bill, the terms and requirements of the contracts signed between the owner of a commercial service, the seller and the owner of the order delivery point will be determined.
The authors of the initiative note that one of the main conditions for contracts will be a clear statement of the terms of cooperation. It is also suggested that the marketplace owner be obliged to publish the contract text on his/her own website.
The bill is scheduled to be submitted to the State Duma on Tuesday, March 5.
