According to the bank’s press service, businesses with a linked salary project at Sberbank will be able to access the salary payment service using the QR code.
“With the launch of this service, the process of interaction between employers and employees will be instantaneous,” said Ekaterina Gartseva, director of the Social and Salary Solutions department at Sberbank.
He added that using the service will be free.
According to Gartseva, the new service will digitalize the payment process as well as make it environmentally friendly.
As the bank explains, the employer using the service will be able to create a QR code for SberBusiness legal entities in the Internet bank and then transfer it to the employee.
Additionally, the employer can apply for salary transfer via paper if deemed necessary. In this case, the employee will receive a notification about this in the application.
