Tourists are increasingly booking expensive tours to Turkey 18:47

Despite the general decrease in prices, tourists began to prefer expensive holidays in premium hotels in Turkey more often. The portal reports this TurDom with reference to the calculations of one of the top managers of the tour operator.

According to a representative of one of the tour operators, the average bill for a 10-day tour decreased by 12% in euros. At the same time, Turkish hoteliers previously gave an average of 20 percent discount to Russian companies. This means that despite the decline in income, tourists are starting to book high-end hotels more frequently.

Tours to premium 5* hotels, costing between $150 and $200 per room per day, are primarily in demand. Such accommodation facilities are traditionally purchased for early booking. However, experts say that their share in total sales will increase in 2024.

According to tour operators, tours costing 100 thousand rubles per week for two people with accommodation in 3-4* hotels have become less affordable for mass tourists. Only rich Russians who prefer a comfortable holiday can afford to pay this much.
