The Ufaorgsintez petrochemical plant (part of the Bashneft oil refinery and petrochemical complex) has started producing a high-octane component for motor gasoline, the Rosneft press service reported.
According to the company, the new gasoline improves fuel properties. Bashneft also reported that the economic impact of the new development for the 4th quarter of 2023 exceeds 200 million rubles.
The basis of the new component is isopropylbenzene (IPB), which has no analogues in Russia in terms of purity (at least 99.9%). The new component also increases the octane rating of motor gasoline.
The new Ufaorgsintez product passed all the necessary tests, as well as examination of technical conditions at the Republican Center for Standardization, Metrology and Testing named after it. Muratshina in the morning.
