Starting September 1, 2024, the process will take no more than 5 business days. Previously it took up to 20 business days to gain access. The relevant decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
In addition, the number of documents required to obtain permission for international road transportation will also be reduced. Starting in the autumn, Russian shipping companies will be required to provide Rostransnadzor with one to three documents, depending on the type of cargo transported.
