Beeline and Megafon companies reported that their networks were working stably and the cause of the malfunction was beyond the companies’ responsibility. This was reported by RIA News referring to the press services of mobile operators.
“The Beeline network is working normally. The company stated that possible interruptions in the operation of some Internet resources are outside the scope of responsibility of Beeline.
Megafon also noted that the company noticed a decrease in traffic volumes on the Russian Internet, but the problem was not in the network.

Before that, Russia’s largest cellular operators reported a large-scale failure. It was noted that DNSSEC, an add-on to the domain name system designed to increase the security of Internet users, was broken.
