SME Company has launched a special project to support domestic brands (manufacturers of clothing, shoes, accessories and cosmetics). The “SME Stitches” project will help participants sell products on popular offline and online platforms. This situation was reported to SME Corporation.
Additionally, the new project will allow Russian entrepreneurs to receive support under government support programs, including concessional loans and equipment rental, loan guarantee assistance and participation in special acceleration programs.

Brands from among the participants will be selected quarterly to be placed in offline stores on preferential terms.
The first partner of the project was the Moscow store Telegraph in the Riviera shopping center. Five representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises producing down jackets and women’s clothing introduced their products here.

General Director of SME Corporation Alexander Isaevich believes that in order for goods produced by small and medium-sized enterprises to be in demand and for Russian brands to replace foreign brands, manufacturers should help them with promotion.
“The first aspect is support in sales markets where packaging and marketing are very important. Here, free accelerators will be organized for project participants on product packaging, establishment of business processes and creation of sales channels. The second important point is the available financing for the development of your business. We will assist all project participants with concessional loan financing,” Isaevich said.
Nikolai Konstantinov, general director of the Trend Island store, head of the Telegraph project, said that the store was founded with the aim of becoming a bridge between people who produce fashionable clothes, shoes, accessories and those who buy them.
