First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergei Kiriyenko chaired the meeting of the Coordination Committee, where decisions were made on financing socially significant projects of non-profit organizations this year by the Presidential Grant Fund.

Of the 10 billion rubles allocated, 4.4 billion will be received by the winners of the first competition announced at the meeting, and 2 billion will be sent to the regions as co-financing of their own competitions; The remaining money will be distributed in the second competition of the Presidential Grants Fund, applications will be accepted between February 1 and March 15.

In the first competition, in which 10,827 applications were received from 88 regions since the fall of 2023, 1,559 non-profit organizations whose projects received the highest scores became winners.

It is stated that 64 winning projects, financed with 428 million rubles, will be implemented in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
