He noted that he recently received a report from his colleagues, stating that the situation at the hydroelectric power plant site does not currently allow the necessary research to be carried out on the site.
The dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station collapsed on the night of June 6, 2023. As a result, water from the reservoir quickly flowed into the Dnieper, flooding coastal towns and villages, including Aleshki and Novaya Kakhovka.
