Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov inspected the progress of urgent restoration work at the Beskudnikovo substation in Moscow and ordered the development of a plan to increase the reliability of Moscow substations. This has been reported telegram channel Ministry of Energy.
On January 4, a fire occurred at the substation, as a result of which some consumers in the North-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow were left without electricity.
The Ministry of Energy stated that 10 kV equipment is currently in operation, power supply to all consumers is being restored as soon as possible.
They also said that Shulginov held a working meeting at the substation. The ministry emphasized that while investigating the causes of the incident, the minister gave instructions to involve scientific centers in the process and develop an action plan to increase the reliability of the Beskudnikovo substation and the 500 kV substations of the Moscow energy system.
It was previously reported that power outages occurred in the North and South Medvedkovo, Bibirevo and Otradnoye regions due to the accident. As a result, heating units were also shut down. It was there to eliminate the accident was created operational headquarters.
