In his statement at the National Projects Council meeting, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov said that Russia will increase its crude oil exports by 7% in 2023 compared to the previous year, reaching 250 million tons. TASS.

“In monetary terms, Russia’s energy exports have practically reached 2021 levels and remain at a comfortable level for the budget and companies,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

At the same time, according to Belousov, the volume of exports to unfriendly countries decreased by 3.5 times, and to the European Union by 4.5 times. This happened due to the introduction of price restrictions, sanctions against Russian ships and companies, as well as sabotage of gas pipelines.

“Limiting the supply of our energy resources is one of the main goals of the collective West’s actions against our country,” Belousov said.

According to him, despite these measures, Russia will not completely stop exporting energy to Europe and some other unfriendly states.
