Russian Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev said that he felt he had to do better after Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statement that egg prices were high. This was reported by RIA News.
“I felt that I should have worked better, but in the end I probably did not fully cope with the task,” Patrushev said.
He expects the president to “give another chance to stabilize this price.”
Patrushev expressed hope that chicken egg prices will fall next year.
