Rosatom denied data on the ban on uranium supplies to the USA

The company Techsnabexport (international trademark TENEX, part of Rosatom) denied information about a possible cessation of supplies of enriched uranium to the USA. This was reported in a press release of the state company. TASS.

The statement was a reaction to a Bloomberg article published on December 14. The material claimed that the American division of the company sent a warning to its customers about a possible ban on the export of nuclear fuel to the United States.

According to the agency, Moscow could take such a step if Washington passes a law banning imports. However, Rosatom emphasized that these data do not coincide with the facts.

“Neither TENEX nor the company’s subsidiaries made such notifications to their foreign customers. “We have always fulfilled our contractual obligations fully and on time and will continue to do so in the future,” the press release said.

Representatives of the state enterprise also added that Techsnabexport and other Rosatom organizations value the trust of foreign customers. Moreover, they do not accept speculations about their relationships with business partners.
