The costs of major renovations of apartment buildings in Russia increased by an average of 12% due to the increase in prices of building materials. This is evidenced by the report of the project “Kontur.Torgi”, writes RIA News.
The total tender amount for major repairs also increased by 12% compared to the previous year, reaching 506 billion rubles. However, the number of transactions related to major repairs decreased by 19 percent, from 40 thousand to 33 thousand. This led to an increase in the average tender price to 16.2 million rubles, said Kontur.Torgi project expert Ksenia Petrofanova.
However, Petrofanova noted that the number of failed acquisitions decreased in 2023. This was because lawmakers allowed deal terms to be changed after the contract was awarded, making it easier for suppliers to bid on major renovations.
