FAS files lawsuit for advertising a choleretic drug

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) filed a lawsuit for violations in advertising of the drug “Tykveol”. This has been reported telegram channel MOROCCO.

“OMD Evidence company placed an advertising banner with an image of the drug on the kp.ru website through the Yandex.Direct service. There were no warnings regarding use and the presence of contraindications for use. “There is also no mention of the need to read the instructions for use or seek expert advice.”

The FAS announced that depending on the results of the investigation, OMD Evidence and Yandex (as an advertiser) may face liability under the Federal Advertising Act.

“Tykveol” is a preparation made from pumpkin seed oil. The instructions indicate that it is used for dyskinesia of the gallbladder and biliary tract, cirrhosis of the liver and a number of other diseases. According to the description, it has a choleretic effect and other properties. Contraindications include discomfort in the abdominal area and increased bowel movements. It is stated that you should consult a medical professional before use.
